There are not that many comments and sometimes it feels as talking to myself, I must say!. Still, I do like the idea of having this blog and posting recipes that I treasure.
We have just gone through quite some journey as a family recently. I have not posted about it before. We were trying to establish ourselves in the Caribbean, not a bad place, ha?; but things didn't work as easy as we expect them to be and we had to return back to Europe, which is a wonderful thing, although it was a bit painful to give up the idea of living in the Caribbean for the next coming 10 to 15 years ...
Most of the late recipes you have found in this blog have actually been experiments on the road, so to say, we were moving around different islands in the Caribbean hoping to find the place to build up our "nest" and each new island brought with itself a new inspiration, a new desire to experiment. Sadly, on one of this moving back and forth my camera broke, and I have not being able to make photos recently at all about anything ...
We just arrived to Germany.
I had not realized how tiring it can be to move around that much, so I am taking a time to recover, I am still cooking and baking though, still experimenting!! and enjoying to listen to people 'savor my little creations'
I will work on getting another camera, starting up our new kitchen (new to us), and then I will keep on blogging .... until then! Naraleska
